Rocky Hockey - bringing hockey to everyone

Welcome

Former NHL player Rocky Saganiuk has been coaching and teaching ice hockey for the past 36 years. Rocky grew up in Canada where he played his youth hockey and later was drafted and played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Pittsburgh Penguins. He has studied and learned his trade through the many experiences from great coaches and fellow players he has been associated with. Rocky and his staff have developed a strong hockey program that focuses on teaching the basic skills of hockey in a Fun and Safe environment.

Working with many of the south suburban ice arenas, Rocky offers several programs for young hockey players. Classes are based on skater experience and range from "learn to skate" all the way to "pond hockey" (3 on 3) and an in-house league (full ice 5 on 5). The descriptions, schedules and registration information are all located in the youth hockey section.

In addition, Rocky offers several adult programs including a weekly drills and skills session and a friendly 3-on-3 pond hockey league. Form more information check out the adult hockey section.

Testimonial

All 3 of our boys started their hockey careers in Rocky Hockey. As parents we are always impressed with how Rocky makes each kid feel like they are the most important person on the ice. He does a great job of teaching the FUNdamentals.
